Greetings Ya'll,
I have heard some touching stories here. I am trying to feel ya', really I am. But, until you have been born in Iowa you really don't know lonliness. At seventeen, it was me, heading west, then a couple more years and I went south. All along the way everyone said I was an 'idiot out wandering around'. Imagine the effect this had on me...I was thirty-two before I realized this was an acronym. I.diot O.ut W.andering A.round . This is the first time I have been able to speak of this, and I want to thank you all for helping me to get beyond this. I am feeling a little better. But I think I will continue to tell any who ask..."Hell, I was born in Jersey!...Vermont!...Conneticut!!! anywhere!!! but I.O.W.A.?!?!?!?!?!
