Comme on 1FARMER, what type of optical connectors are you using..... We have been using FC/APC or SC/APC and we never had any problem with connector baddly aligned... once.
I will bet my shirt that this problem is baddly ajusted return gain or high input at the return optical transmitter out of the NODE.
