All of our meters will down load with an USB connector (with
serial adaptor on the other end) except the SDA 5000's. Had to
order a cord from Acterna. I tried everything else, this was
the only one that worked. Price was $45 that was about 2 years
ago.
You may have to contact Acterna to see if they have a program
that is compatible with windows XP. I'm not sure if they do. For
now we keep computers with windows 2000 for the purpose of down
loading.
Sorry I don't think I was much help to you
> Has anyone used a usb connector (with a serial adaptor on the other end) to download sweep data from a SDA 5000? I have a notebook that has usb and no serial ports. Windows XP does not recognise stealth and the stealthware (version 7) does not recognise USB. I have used all the com ports at different baud rates and yes I changed the settings on the meter to match the baud rate and I can not get a link.
