charter comm. (chtr) dropped to 96 cents a share. their initial offering was for 20some dollars and many people bought in to it, thinking paul allen was going to do great things. wsta newsletter tells me charter is starting to offer telephone service in a town called wausau, wisconsin. does that mean they are ready to compete nationwide or is this just a test? they laid off their COO and have a big investigation going on. will they go bankrupt like adelphia? get bought out and (hopefully) the stocks increase? anyone got any info? i retro spliced charter for almost 3 years and they are putting out high speed internet on some of those systems. we used mostly s.a. taps (without the strap) and i thought that " no strap to pass current = no telephone). i was not on the wausau wisconsin project though, so havent a clue. any info/opinions?
is charter stock worth it?
