Can tell you from past experience (from Michigan) if your driving a bucket truck and pulling a trailor you better use the truck lane and the posted truck speed.. I know sounds like a bunch of bs but it cost me a pretty penny a year ago.
> Usually if it requires a CDL or has air-brakes then it counts as a truck and if it is a big truck T-36 or T-40 you better stop at a weigh station or they will pull you over and they can not only write you a ticket, but search the truck as well...I know from past experience!!!!

My boyfriend and brother were driving through Illinois today at the car speed limit of 65mph and got pulled over. Cop said anything over 4 tons has to use the truck speed limit. Seems like some bs to me, does that mean we also have to stop at the weigh stations ? Just wondered if anyone else has heard of this.
