Accomplishments: Servicing of fiber optic cable networks
nationwide. Building, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, connectorization,
and splicing of ribbon and single strand cables, also terminating Hub sites, Row
Pop sites, and Head Ends. Knowing and understanding splice schematics, fiber
backbone blueprints, and Head End relay rack layouts.
Mastery of technical equipment including:
Variety of style O.T.D.R.’s,
including CMA 4000
Siecor Fusion Splicers; M-90, 3163
Fujikura Fusion Splicers;
Single strand 40S, 30S, and Mass fusion 30R
Experience in enclosures ranging from any type of Raychem’s, 3-M’s,
Coyote’s. Also 2600’s, UCB-1’s, Antec, Captil, as well as
PSI’s.

Built and spliced Mass
fusion ribbon system, along with Fiber Net of Chicago, Illinois. Terminated
576-ct. cable to pre-connectorized ribbon patch panels.
