Greetings everyone,
Let me try this, again. I only wanted to tell a short, but true story and you all can weigh the evidence and decide for yourselves. I am not priveledged to the inforation any one else has said concerning Tony at OP-TEC Communications, I am offering no dispute here for anythinganyone has said...yea, or nea. I will tell you about my experiences with Tony since knowing him for the last five years. I will make this brief. Tony did everything he said he would do. Tony paid the prices he said he would pay. Tony had the equipment he said he would have. Tony, often, did more for the men working then he said he would...advances, dinners, etc., etc. Listen to what I am about to tell you now, though! I left the job not being able to stay, and I left owing Tony money. It is a substantial amount and he has never called to dog me, he has never posted against my name at the bar. Tony and I are in contact and I am gaining ground, again. Tony has taken my word and treated me as worthy, being patient for the money I owe him. I know job to job we can have situations that will bring us against one another when at any other time we would have been best of companions. I hope this has been the cases here and if not, I still respect the words and dis-agreements had by others. I for one have to step up and say Tony is one person I will work with, and/or for any time.
In all fairness, though, I am aware of some of Tony's sub-ordinate's and there is my only hesitation. I have had the ill-experience of suffering a poor work reccommendation by one of his Project Mngr's. It was completely unfounded, and un-necessary as far as I am concerned. Especially, knowing the present battle I have been involved in. In the long run, this pickle-tongue systems-man did me a great favor. After I was not given the work I was seeking, I found out that Jerin was a good company to stay away from any how. And for Chist's sake, I had NO ambition what-so-ever to be stuck in B*mF*ck Nebraska. I guess I can now surrender the hard-nose attitude and say , Thank-you, too, John! I should have known better then to ever think any kind of linesmen or Cable Company could have come out of Kansas. By the way thanks to you , too, Jerin.
Tony Long is A-Okay! Do what you tell him you can, and will do and I will bet my pay...Tony will do the same!!!
