It isn't the parties, it's the system, if we had a democracy in this country and made lobbying illegal, had a slush fund for campaign contributions that was the only place a political party could draw it's campaign funding from and created a flat tax with no loopholes a lot of the scandals would go away. There is not a big differance in the last and the current president, they are both draft dodgers, both admitted drug users, both accepted large sums of money from large corporations, both cheat on the wife. So who's fault is it? Look in the mirror, were the ones that allow the system to continue to exist the way it is, contact your senator/congressman ( more lawyers selling their asses ) and tell them what you want changed, you might find one with the integrity to look beyond his own wallet and do something about the problems, but I doubt it.
