It wouldn't matter if Mickey Mouse had been voted in as Prez, the accounting practices of Enron, et al, is commonly called "cooking the books", and would have crashed anyway.
The point of the whole matter is that these huge corporations have screwed the little guy by sucking the $$ out of a growing economy, deflating it to dangerous level.
