harrybourne, where is the question I asked an engineer friend of mine from AM Communications, a status monitoring equipment maker . "Is it possible to read the power consumed by a power supply using the status monitoring equipment AM installed in a power supply like ALPHA, LECTRO and other".

Here is his answer ****** Not easily Joe50.  You can do an estimated power consumption based on output power and current but you would have to come up with an "efficiency" number.  We do NOT measure input current so an exact calculation is not feasible! ******
