just resplice everything it can't take that long.. 4 taps? If you TDR'ed the runs and can't find anything. I mean, when u TDR the run from the output of the amp, do your tap signatures look well defined? (the little zig-zag) do you use a sniffer also when you're playing with this run ? Thats what I would do when it was giving me problems. but in the least re do all the splices and see if the problem goes away.
That sh** would definately not fly here in one of our telephony nodes.
