This is not necessarily the work of a disgruntled employee. While I agree you may not want to be paid for unloading your truck, etc.,etc. I think this probably would apply more to the actual work you do - I worked at a company (not cable) where this happened - and people were supposed to be paid "piece and a half" for over 40 hours....now it has made the company much more observant in watching hours and making sure they follow the laws established. It did not result in an end to piecework production, just a more cautious approach to make sure the privilege was not being abused....employees tend to take advantage of good things, too!!! The old Catch 22 situation! Good luck to all in this industry at present ....
