Yeah.....prices have been slashed and slashed because of small time operators lowballing every code and then bellying up because they can not make it. Too many people vieing for too little work. On alot of codes these days, I have to pay out virtually the entire prime price so that a sub can make enough to eat. Our company survives because of construction; installs suck.
> really, maybe i should'nt have asked this question. i was making 18.00 per box install 6 years ago and working in my home state. 50% of our housing was covered then also. now i'm 2200 miles from home and taking this forced pay cut. a/o 2nd box is and a/o activation, with a dct installed on that a/o. although these are new customers, not box swaps.

BUT MY PROB IS THAT MY COMPANY SAYS THAT THEIR PRICES WERE CUT BY CHARTER, AND OUR PRICES WAS CUT. THING IS OUR PRISES I THOUGHT WERE ALREADY LOW, AS A MATTER OF FACT IF THEVE CHANGED AT ALL IN THE LAST 8 TO 10 YEARS IT WAS'NT MUCH.
