The one D-ring was just an example. I still need to prove the physical demands of linemen in general. I know the prime's occaisionally make tapes for MSO etc. Still pictures just don't show some of the maximums SAFELY DONE.
JD is 5'5 1/2", & had to strech at most active (dual loops) poles on a regular basis. Or when new-hires couldn't keep the lasher going behind rollers. Ever notice how they stop the lasher just out reach?
> i dont think you shoud have any one do that un less you are wereing a harness ,i know soneone d ring broke and he fell gust missed a sign.i can put my hook at the clamp with both d ring so why should i use one?
> > Anyone have some video of LINEMEN doing thier job? I need to describe what work was preformed & the physical abilities needed. It's very difficult to explain "going out on one D-ring...", swaping the lasher (incl. one handed), etc. Thought submitting a video might work. Can't afford much but willing to pay shipping at a minimum. (-REDACTED-)
