Yes and one of the major problems we had when we were pulling it off the reel is if they were on the wooden reels the nails would somehow work there way out of the wood about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch out half way in on the reel and it would catch and tear it open. It's probably from all the movement back and forth during shipping. It happened twice to us. Just tell your groundman to watch it very close while pulling it off. As far as splicing went never had a problem.
