the loss of this cable is a little greater that mc2. the problem with this cable is that it was big before the thought of a system going to 750 or even 870 mhz. i have extensive knowledge of trying to sweep this type of cable and the response is almost like a mismatch. you will see nothing but standing waves. i am suprised to hear of it still being used, i thought all that was made had coroded and disapeared.
there is also extensive loss above 550 mhz. i think the center cunductor is too small to hold that much bandwidth. you do know about the skin efect theory?
