Re: Return distortion


The cheap way to do it is to wait until the wee hours when no one is on your system.....Load the return path with carriers in the suspected area or at the term tap and check in the headend for distortions. If you see a problem move to the next active in line and check it again from the headend if you don't see the problem then you have isolated it on the one leg between amp A and B. Now just hunt it like you would on a forward distortion problem except in reverse........Works great for me!
