> Cisco says no more than 200 subs per upstream port......In my opinion that is too many I shoot for about 150...you can show interfaces on your diagnostics and see exactly what your upstream is at...it will tell you in a percentage format. If it says 90 percent at 2pm then you know it will be bottlenecked at 8pm prime time......The standard upstream bandwidth is 1.6 mhz( thats where cisco puts it from the factory) if you open that channel to 3.2 mhz you will double your capacity.
