It was mentioned on the local news stations. The rate increases were in the Buffalo Evening News and on all the TV stations (2, 4, 7, 29...). Mayor was also on the television. Franchise revocation was mentioned also on TV news. Insurances being stopped were also on local network news 2-3 days ago. The "Multi-Million" dollar corporate office building that they said was going to be built in downtown Buffalo's waterfront that was stated "were going to bring hundreds of new jobs to the Buffalo area" is a BIG dissapointment to the city and residents as they were counting on it to save the area. These are just a few things on the local news. Not to mention the "Buffalo Sabres" hockey team. NHL appears to have taken control after a Toronto meeting last week so a "suitable" buyer could be found.
