Where is the work!!!!!!!!!!

I was recently laid off because of this adelphia crap!!! But my question is where is all the work?? I've live in Southern California, if anybody knows of work here please reply!! I am a qualified sweep thechnician with four years under my belt. Finding sweep would be nice but splicing and construction will do!! If no work is local to me, anybody know of companys that pay to relocate??
