The only advice i could give is to have someone at the receiving end monitor input power on the fiber in question (with the reciever display), and put a slight bend on the fibers, one at a time, at the source end. A drop in input power will be your telltale sign. One wrap around a round bic pen usually puts about 1dB loss onto the fiber. Best only to do this on buffered patch cables. It's worked for me... (smokin)
