What Happen????

Started in cable 10 years ago, started as a lineman, then foreman now splicer,retro and new build wanted to be a sub so I talked to a few old school splicing subs 38 cents a ft that is what they was making I was making 20 out of the primes truck now I am layed off so I thought I would get started sub contracting but I have yet to see a price over 22cents a ft????? what happen cant all be from adelphia can it????
