1. Learn to read a design print well.
2. Learn to climb a pole.
3. Get onto a const. crew and learn to handle lashed cable.
4. Kiss an accomplished trunk splicers ass so he'll teach you.
5. Spend at least 4 months with your new found buddy so you can get the basics of splicing and troubleshooting.
6. Take a good look at the business right now and decide if this is an undertaking that would be a wise pursuit.
