The answer to your question is going to depend on the company that designed your system and the equipment you are using. If these are high gain balanced triples, all ports are equal. If they are bridgers, it would make sense that the two on the same side would be grouped together, but let them give you a key for the tombstones to make sure. Every design company has their own way of doing things, so better to make sure than get gigged and have to go back.
