Just A Thought: If you have someone come in and bid ridiculously low (HACK), you get what you pay for. Keep quality splicers, because they are quality and not due to price. Then you will not have to pay twice or three times, which is a headache and sucks the money out of a project anyway. Some things can just not be fixed if done improperly and at the cost of the prime. That way you could have paid the quality person what was needed and had it done right the first time. ( it is actually cost effective )
