There are not alot of company's that will buy your tools for you and pay as well as MasTec does. It is apparent you are a rookie/Hack if you don't own a complete set of tools. "Your" vehicle can change at any time you are responsible to inspect your vehicle every day (BOO HOO!) if you would inspect your vehicle and annotate damage you would be clear. Don't like it go to Penske and rent one for 1400.00 a month until then shut up and drive. Now about your "Holiday Pay", it is becoming more and more apparent you are full of crap. Are you a production Employee or Salary??Production employees don't get Holiday Pay you work if you want or you lay at home like a scab. I don't know any salary employees who need brooms and "blueprints". Im sorry your management wont help you but I am sure if you printed your post out and fed-ex it to Ed and attach your real name to it he will fix it.lol
Where did you work that they paid for your tools? It is true they have (or had) good trucks, and ok equipment (compared to other companies). But tools are all on you, and if ya want to buy through the company, They'll charge ya 15% plus tax. Real top knotch company looking out for its employees.

If you are assigned a vehicle you are responsible for it, but they take it off you, and someone else is driving it, You find out at the end of the week you are responsible for four vehicles. There are no vehicle checks before or after you get assigned one,, but you are deducted for damage you didn't do. Holiday Pay is worse if you don't take your Holidays , You are considered not entitled to it, or if you take your Holidays you are told your money is not ready and they will make it up later. If you are told too come to the office to discuss your raise they keep you waiting for three hours, then tell you the meeting was cancelled and you are deducted the lost time for waiting. And you don't get any raise, Management then adds your money to their Profit Share Bonus.
