Re: Remember when Hanoi Jane went to VietNam????

I was only a little girl when this happened but I remember
my parents telling me that they hated the "BITCH" and that
she was a traitor. I never knew why, but now I do. My heart
goes out to you and all others who fought, suffered, and died
for our freedom and just because you were asked to defend
our country. I am a school teacher and my students are
taught to stand at attention whenever saluting the flag or
tribute is made to our veterans on Veterans Day. Nothing
chaps me worse than to have these kids playing around or
just acting as if they are in la-la land. I have told
them we do live in America and they are free to make their
own choices........after they leave my class!!!!!! While
they are here they will show respect!!! They then get a lessonon WWII and Vietnam and the price paid by you and many others who never got to come back home. It usually has a great impact on them. My grandfather fought in WWII and I have some of the letters he wrote while on his tour of duty. I will never forget and I thank you for letting me know about what that "thing" did over there. She is not a true "Woman" inmy mind, only a thing. I am a true "Woman" and I appreciate and am grateful more than any words can express for the "Men" of this country that have made it what it is today. If there is anything I can do in my little neck of the woods to help you or any other out to pass the word or to teach the truth, or anything, please let me know. Sincerely,(usa) Talyh36@aolcom
