Its like working in the Ice Age Trying to Hammer in with rocks, The management is on a continual holiday with pay deducted from our wages, Including Christmas Bonus that is used to buy them new trucks to drive. Supervisors are a joke, There is very little or no Safety on jobs sites, or you get sent with one guy to do a Two Man job, and while you are there five more guys show up for the same job. No one really knows what’s going on at job sites either the Blue Prints are wrong or they don't have the right material
to do the job. When you ask management a Question regarding any job, you are passed onto a Supervisor that doesn't know, and he passes you onto someone else that doesn't
know, and to top it off he will send you to clean up a job site with a broken shovel, rake or broom with a taped handle or the nails they repaired it with won't hold it together. Mastec will also make deductions for tools and equipment they don't even own or have. If you are assigned a vehicle you are responsible for it, but they take it off you, and someone else is driving it, You find out at the end of the week you are responsible for four vehicles. There are no vehicle checks before or after you get assigned one,, but you are deducted for damage you didn't do. Holiday Pay is worse if you don't take your Holidays , You are considered not entitled to it, or if you take your Holidays you are told your money is not ready and they will make it up later. If you are told too come to the office to discuss your raise they keep you waiting for three hours, then tell you the meeting was cancelled and you are deducted the lost time for waiting. And you don't get any raise, Management then adds your money to their Profit Share Bonus.
