FIY for future use; sub-split means the return spectrum is below Channel 2, mid-split means more of the spectrum is decicated to return, in this case it would include everything below channel 6 (or some other frequency in the mid-band) and high-split usually includes everything below channel 13 (220MHz). Each different configeration requires different diplex filters and may require different equalizers along with other passband circuit requirements. Sub-split is about all we use for CATV in the US, although mid and even high split are used in some institutional, or private applications
