I must say that I am quite surprised at your (inaccurate)statements. I will now add my two cent worth to set the record straight!
First of all I did not STEAL anything, from you or anyone else there, I wasn't raised that way. Stealing is wrong and I just don't do it! All materials normally kept in the back of the truck were given to one of your techs (I don't remember his name). He was especially concerned that the modems be accounted for, which they were! The keys,(which I kept up front with me for safekeeping), video tags, etc were mailed to you at your street address (for LB&L Cable). I asked for a return receipt by the post office. I will check my mail in a few days when I get back in town. Once I verify delivery receipt,(that means you have received the package) I think you might want to reconsider and retract the slanderous remarks you've made about me.
Secondly, you did not LOAN me any money. I requested and you gave me a one-hundred dollar cash ADVANCE (remember our discussion about this before hand?) At the time I requested the advance, I had completed work that totaled at least $120.00 on the day before. I specifically said that I would never ask for an advance that exceeded what I had earned!
After reading some of the other replies to your posting, I feel better than ever now for following my gut feelings and leaving when I did. I thought you were a man of character. It is becoming clearer that that is questionable.
Seriously now, how stupid do you think we readers are? You said I could not complete an install. That is obviously incorrect or you would not have given me a cash advance. On my last day there, I did spend almost all day on ONE JOB. I wanted to get the job done right. The customer expressed their satisfaction and was happy with the job I did. The whole day, for $40. Add that to the $120 I earned the day before, that totals $160. You advanced me $100. That leave you owing me $60. My return address is on the package I sent you.
What do you think gang? Will I get my $60....? Stay tuned.
I have not treated you with any disrepect, foul or vulgar language. I have never threatened you. I would appreciate the same from you. While I definitely could have handled my departure better, I will have to live with that as one of my shortcomings and try to improve on that. Take a look at yourself. It might do you some good!!!
Sincerely,
Bill Thomas
