Hey, get use to it!!! I'm a sub with a General Engineering License and most companies in California require 5 Million. Drug Test are becoming standard in the industry, along with the ID Badge. If the Company your are contracting to is cool, they will usually blanket coverage you for the rest.

Anyone out there contracting for Time Warner in Houston.I was wondering if they are requiring every contractor to carry 2 million general AND auto liability or is it just requirements for the co. I'm speaking with?.Also,urinalysis for contractors???


The two million is standard these days it seems, but it is the individual you're going to be working for requesting it. Urinalysis are also for the company you're working for, but more and more MSO's are requiring them from the contractors. Liability is the name of the game...
