Cable Modem Issues

By: Judith Peralta ( (-REDACTED-) )

Hello!
My name is Judith and I was wondering if anyone out there can help me. Before I continue, if I break any netiquette rules, please forgive me as I am very new at this. I have an NT server to which I installed a second Ethernet card so I can install a proxy service, so my other pcs can simultaneously access the cable modem. I have separate IP addresses for both the cards, statically assigned DNS addresses given to me by the cable company, and all necessary requirements. At this point, both the adapters are fully functional, but when I try to use the cable modem, I can connect but I cannot surf. I am asking for help because I seem to have exhausted most options with the cable company. They gave me the disclaimer that they do not support Windows NT. If anyone can assist me, my email address is: (-REDACTED-) . Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Judith
