Tell you what... I worked as an MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) for a few years until I got into sweeping... I don't care what Acterna says... I could not get Stealthware to download my meters correctly either in Win NT, 2000, or XP without shutting down the OS. I finally used a dual-boot system on my laptop with WinMe on the other side (could've used 98 or 95), I would download on the Win98 side, then view & QC on the Win2000 side, until I picked up a cheap laptop with Win98 on it. I use that to manage all the Sweep graphs along with the Riserbond pics.
I would suggest you pick up a cheap laptop with an ethernet card and download on it. And if you need/want the graphs on your 2000 machine, copy them via the network card (or email them)... works the best, plus it will give you a backup set of all your graphs.
Acterna just needs to develop an USB cord for their meters eventually!!!
-Hope that helps...
