Re: Super Dave

The 70's...??  Hell, I was still just a young turd running around the streets in Manhattan back then....

Some young fella by the name of EFYOU is the one that was all butt-hurt over having to climb 19 poles a day...AND drag a lasher to each pole...!.!.!

Back when I was livin' on the road full time,( '86-'94 ) 19 poles was just about enough to sweat out a hang-over.....

I know I bust the young guys balls sometimes, but I just don't think some of them would've lasted 10 minutes on a full blown aerial job back then....The guy who brought me into the biz was (and still is ) an old dawg from the old school.....They taught us in a way that just wouldn't fly today....And I'm not complaining...!  I'm happy to have had someone think enough of me to push me the way he did.  I still have an immense amount of respect for Harlan....And always will....

I'm all for givin' a kid a chance, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna listen to some young turd complain about it....Sh*t, Harlan woulda shot me for pissin' and moanin'.....

Anyway, My hat's off to ya.....

Later,
