Sure, but the accuracy in the HP can not be compared. Am not 100% familiar with 4040d, but if SDA-5000 will do C/N, CTB/CSO, HUM, ect... IF there are no "soft keys" for such on unit, you will have to resort to the old "measure and calculate" long-hand on the "spectrum" screen. Check out this web page.
