Make Ready Tech (contract) for Scientific Atlanta, mid-Atlantic states

SciCare Broadband Services, a business group of Scientific-Atlanta, is are currently looking for a talented hands on Make Ready Technician to join the team. The position is as an individual contractor to Scientific Atlanta.

Job description
Measure utility pole clearances to assure no violations to pole attachment agreements occur.
Keep detailed records and files of all activities.
Meet with utility and regulatory representatives in an effort to minimize the make ready expenses to the customer.
Develop professional relationship with utilities, regulatory bodies, and company representatives.
Assure all pole and road clearances are reached. Requires heavy field work.
Assure proper depth reached for underground construction.

Skills-
Substantial prior experience with cable system make ready and design, and construction.
Prior experience locating favorable sites for power supply and node placements
Ability to handle multiple duties and to meet deadlines
Computer literate
