Go ahead and stuff all the active returns and put 75 ohm terminators on the drop connectors of any unconnected so called self terminating taps before you sweep. The cable companies won't pay the splicers to stuff them and the splicers wont stuff them unless they get paid so you get to do the job twice. The self terminating taps do not terminate and cause massive standing waves. If you get really bad pictures on a leg, you will find it has a lot of self terminating taps. Remove the terminators after you get your pictures. It makes a huge differnce in your pictures and is actually faster in the long run since you are not fighting it.
> I would like to know where I could get books a website any documentation proving problems that occur when sweeping actives(whole nodes) without stuffing the return.Thank you for your time.
