Permit Engineer (contract) for Scientific Atlanta, mid-Atlantic location

We are currently looking for a talented Permit Engineer to join our team. The position is an individual contract position to Scientific Atlanta.

Description of position-

Ø Will seek and obtain necessary permits as required for the customer by local, city, county, state entities.
Ø Will maintain good working relationships with key contacts within each agency.
Ø Will coordinate easement access.
Ø Will maintain an on-going log of all activities.
Ø Will communicate as required within the project staff and between agencies as required.
Ø Will secure permits in a timely manner, in order to avoid down-time.


Skills-

Substantial prior experience with cable system permitting
Prior experience securing permits and easements for cable system placement.
Ability to handle multiple duties and to meet deadlines
Computer literate
