CABL Forum - QC Lead (contract position) for Scientific Atlanta mid-Atlantic locations

We are currently looking for a talented hands on Outside Plant Construction Quality Control Supervisor to join our team. The position is an individual contract position to Scientific Atlanta.

Description of position-

Ø Will manage and deploy local system on-site staff
Ø Will inspect work zones for safety compliance with all applicable OSHA and VDOT rules and regulations
Ø Will conduct visual inspections of on-going trenching, boring, cabling, restoration, and aerial cabling to insure customer’s construction specifications are met
Ø Will work with homeowners to resolve restoration and other complaints, and maintain an on-going log of activities
Ø Will conduct visual inspections of splicing to assure workmanship meets customer specifications
Ø Will prepare and distribute reports for customer as needed

Skills-

Minimum of 5 years cable industry experience
Prior quality control experience
Prior supervisory experience a plus
Experience in all aspects of aerial and underground cable construction
Good interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
