Re:we need to form our own union



Sounds good to begin with, but it's not too practical most of the time. The different costs of living, different working conditions and just general quality of overall product all come into play. A union would do away wih bidding and probably drive the average pay scale DOWN. Remember the customers' comment "When cable gets federally regulated, our bills will go down". That sure didn't turn out like they thought.
