Did you tell EBAY that the item was hot? It looks like you did and if they know that an item is stolen then they should kick it off. Please let me know what you told EBAY and I will go from there. I need all the enfo on item and where to look. I have seen EBAY pull posting and reprimand the person. Some times they get kicked out.Pawn shops should call the co. that made the equipment and verify who owns it. The only problem with that is some co. will order a lot of them and then payroll deduct them and then to co. that ordered them will have them listed in there name not the man that bought it. Makes it kind of rough to check on.
Good Luck

> RECENTLY I BID ON A WAVETEK SWEEP METER AND A SPLICING METER. I EMAILED THE SELLER, GOT THE SERIAL #'S AND CALLED WAVETEK (ACTERNA -1 800 622 5515 RA SERVICES). THEY GAVE ME THE SELLERS NAME AND PHONE #. I CALLED THE SELLER ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THESE ITEMS WERE HOT! THE PAWN SHOPS AROUND THIS COUNTRY HAVE DISCOVERED WHAT AN INCREDIBLE TOOL EBAY IS. THEY MAY NOT KNOW (OR CARE) THAT ITS YOUR METER THEY ARE SELLING. LIST YOUR EQUIPMENT AS STOLEN WITH WAVETEK ( ALL YOU MSO'S OUT THERE!!). I REFUSED TO BUY THE STOLEN EQUIPMENT AND GOT A WARNING MESSAGE FROM EBAY: DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE RESOLVED ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ITEM WITH THE SELLER! ALSO, ITS YOUR PROBLEM, NOT OURS, THAT YOU BID ON STOLEN EQUIPMENT ON OUR WEBSITE ( IE, DONT BOTHER US WITH YOUR PETTY PROBLEMS).
