First of all, a full tap audit is different from a visual audit.
For a visual, you visually look up at the cable lines on a pole, (take binoculars).
For a Full Tap Audit, you actually climb the pole and sort out the cable wires that go to each subscriber.
The unauthorized drops are tagged, marked, and disconnected.
In as much as I know, some of what you will be doing is;
Identifying and recording the status of all homes passed in the system (active and inactive).
You will have to tag all active drops to subscriber addresses, and perform a
general clean up and organize the tap locations.
If you think that's fun,
You'll also replace all fittings to system as needed, and install terminators. Tie-wrap the inactive drops back on messenger, as well as record and adjust service levels per system spec. and record discrepancies. And make note of all broken ports, bad lashing, damaged peds, … etc..)
Don't forget to tag all of the buried drops too.
Be prepared for some grief, when you disconnect the unauthorized active drops.
Let's see, I probably forgot something
Hey, signal theft is a crime!
