First, let me state that my underground experience is very limited. We've been aerial for 23+ years. But it seems to me your question should also take into consideration the circumstances too. Such as the local, i.e. city or country means less or more crowded ground. And what state you're in as this sometimes means more or less regulation, safety requirements etc. What state you're working in would also involove if ground frozen, & if frozen average of how many months per year it's that way. Solid clay, the Rocky Mountains, or sand conditions etc. Cost of living in the area working I also consider prior to considering price issues.
