The response you got from CASPER was prett accurate. In the mid '90. When we got legal rather than paying someone else 10% to work under there license, It was a 3 part test. The third tested your knowledge of legal issues. Concentrating on your knowledge of payment to employees etc. Keep in mind that in CA there are CA versions of laws that superside the federal laws. Such as CA OSHA, CA EPA. Much more rigid than US regs. Also, if you're considering moving into CA, Be advised of "GO-95, AERIAL & GO-128, UNDERGROUND" These regs. for building CATV are different than any other state you'll ever work in.
