I apparently need to clarify. Almost all of the equipment that they want to charge us for, we never signed for. They have no receipts prooving that we ever had this stuff. Thanks
>I think you have definitely struck onto something real here, Cableho, please call me if you are needing a grunt for this operation. Thanks ahead of time, Petergunn.

>>> It is against the Labor Law for a Prime, or any Contractor
>>>to hold an Employees check for missing eqipment. Your local Labor Board will tell you that. Try it Bro.
>>>>I think if you signed for it along with serial numbers then you may be responsible for its return. Just so, if you didn't sign this equipment out then what they are doing with your money is probably illegal and they should try something else to recover the lost or stolen equipment. Just my guess.

Due to what I'm sure is dispatcher or data entry error, several contractors have equipment checked to them that they cannot find. The buzz around the shop is that our prime is going to hold paychecks until this equipment is returned to the comm. company. We never signed anything stating that we were fiscally responsible for the equipment, and again I'm quite sure we never had this equip. to begin with. Their reasoning is that since we sign the print-out (that just states what equip. went to what tech.) that this means we are responsible. Any info would be greatly appreciated, as they plan on charging an outrageous amount for each piece. Thanks!
