It all depends on the crew & the means. Two guys operating as a bucket crew can hit about 12 - 18 poles per hour{I am basing this on removing J-hooks & using a rope hoist to hold lateral tension, instead of just cutting the strand/coax & letting it fly}, 2200 to 3400 feet per hour according to your running. That's saying you have a 40 yard trailer with a crew of 5 rolling it up as you go, so as not to leave any hazards to the general public. This also assumes the cutting crew does not cause any damage to any aerial plant or drops, necessitating work stoppages.
However if the old plant is fused disc coax & the coax must be separated from the strand, spacers & lashing wire for reclamation/redemption the amount of daily production will be much lower. In this scenario I delashed in the air & cut out the coax first, it is much easier than delashing on the ground.
PS If the equipment{Amps, LEs, PSs} is being recycled instead of junked avoid throwing it onto the ground.
>What is the going price for aerial wreck out these days and how many feet can a crew do in a day? Majority is roadside. Average span is around 200 feet.
