Is the cable industry that bad?

Is the cable industry that bad? And, if it is why are there still so many contractors working in it? Just because someone removes an add from the cable bar does not mean it is BS. Maybe the position was filled. I don't even know why the mapper ad was removed but, I do know things in life change on a daily, even hourly basis. Why do people rush to judgement when they don't even know the facts. If people are being screwed in this business it is because they don't do enough research about the job or the company they are going to work for. You have to research everything in your everyday life. Look for the best prices for groceries, do your research. Purchase a car, do your research. Purchase or build a home, do your research. Buy christmas gifts, do your research. There will always be people trying to screw someone. You have to be smarter than they are. You have to go into situations with your eyes wide open. Give people a chance but do your research. I know I do.
