Steve, Take it from a fiber splicing contractor for 10 years now....Have you checked out the prices lately, and done a budget including lease payments? Get ready to withstand 90-120 days without pay.....the leasing companies, hotels, mortgages don't want to hear that you are waiting, or YOUR check is in the mail!! Investigate thourghly, decide wisely. Going out on your own can be exciting, but very risky. Good luck!!

I have been splicing fiber for time warner for 3 years, co-axel for 10 years, I am thinking about going out on my own, I have a preper, truck and tools, and will lease the rest. I want to do strickly fiber splicing.WHATS IT LIKE OUT THERE??? Is there plenty of work, what the money like? GOOD IDEA, BAD IDEA?? If you can help me out leave a message on the bar thanks steve
