As far as I know there is no easy way to remove armor.
Either way if it's the wrap-around or the spun-on armor you need to slice off the outer jacket first, then carefully peel back & cut off enough armor to prep the coax. EXTREME care must be taken so the armor does not puncture the coax. I recommend using a piece of shrink boot over the exposed armor.
