That was a joke at the expense of all the dawgs dissin' dish installers. And I think I know where you are coming from...you couldn't even buy the concrete for one of the ol' SA 6 or 10 meter dishes...hell you couldn't even get the bolts for the panels. I have built plenty of the C and KU band 3 meter dishes in my days also. I also made money from custom installs on the 18 inchers back in the early 90's when they were just hitting the market. I feel blessed as this industry, headend to house drops, has been really good to me.
